Shower Tile Options
We need some help choosing shower tile designs. We have a good bit left over from when Alec remodeled his kitchen. Now we need to decide how to use the tile to create and interesting pattern. What do you think?
What is the white tile? What is the view into the shower from the door? Direct or isometric? I like the direct for option 2, and the isometric for option 1... Are you adding inserts into the shower for shampoo and such or a hanging rack? If a hanging rack, I would not do option 2, just b/c it hides the pretty tile.
The view entering the shower will be isometric. The shower will be to your right when you walk into the bathroom. We will probably do a wall insert for shampoo/soap. The white is 1"x2" glass subway tile. The grey is mosaic square tile.
Michael likes option one because we are going to run the 1"x2" glass subway tile (the one that looks light blue), vertical. Michael thought it would be cool to use the verticality (I realize that is not a word) to coincide with the water falling from the fixture.
I like option 2 because it displays the beautiful mosaic tile.
We'll keep everyone posted on which option we decide.
I like option one. - Justin

ReplyDeleteMichael and I like both.
